Program Overview
The K.K Eleja & Co. Internship Program offers law students a unique opportunity to gain practical legal experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our program is designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to diverse legal matters across our practice areas.
What You'll Learn
As an intern at K.K Eleja & Co., you will work closely with our attorneys on various aspects of legal practice, including:
- Legal research and writing
- Case preparation and strategy development
- Document drafting and review
- Client consultations (observation)
- Court proceedings (observation)
- Administrative and operational aspects of a law firm
Program Structure
Our internship program is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience:
- Orientation: Introduction to the firm, our practice areas, and office procedures
- Mentorship: Each intern is paired with an attorney mentor who provides guidance and feedback
- Rotations: Opportunity to work in different practice areas based on interest and firm needs
- Weekly Check-ins: Regular meetings to discuss progress, address questions, and provide feedback
- Final Project: Interns complete a research project or memo on a relevant legal topic
Eligibility
- Current law students in their penultimate or final year
- Strong academic record
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Interest in our practice areas
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the internship
